User Guide: Knowledge Base

Step 1: Navigate to the Knowledge Base tab

Go to the side navigation menu and select Knowledge.

Step 2: Upload your past questionnaires to the Knowledge Base

You can upload previously completed questionnaires to the Knowledge Base to quickly search for answers using the Import button.

At the moment, you can upload .csv files with the following 3 columns:

  • Question
  • Answer
  • Comment (optional)

We also support uploading certain properly formatted PDF files such as SOC 2 reports. Please contact us if this is of interest.

Step 3: Search for phrases and keywords to find answers

Type in a phrase or keywords in the search box to search through the knowledge base for answers.

You can constrain the search results with the following options:

  1. Type (object type, ex. policy or questionnaire)
  2. Subtype
  3. Source (specific documents where the answer would come from)

Search results show up with the phrases or keywords highlighted and the date of when the item was last updated.

Clicking on a search result opens the side panel view that contains additional information including:

  1. Answer (if it is a question)
  2. Source
  3. Type
  4. Subtype
  5. Date
